Personal, business and estate planning has been a major part of our business since 1977. In 2001 we saw one of the most sweeping Federal Estate Tax changes ever. Before the ink dried, it was clear this tax bill would go through major modification in subsequent years. In late 2010 the Federal Government put a patch on the Federal Estate Tax laws. Again, it is clear these laws will change dramatically within the next two years.
